Tracking Time in Level
This feature allows you to monitor how long each student has been in their current level.
It provides valuable insights into progression and helps identify students who may need additional support.
How it works for your business:
Each time a student enrols in a class, the system checks the class level.
If the class is at a different level than the student’s current level, the student’s record is updated:
The new level is set as their current level.
The date they entered this level is recorded.
If the class is at the same level, no changes are made.
A Level History table is displayed on each student’s profile under the Assessment tab. This shows which levels the student has been in and the dates they started.
Example – Level History:
This provides an at-a-glance view of how long a student has been in a level and whether progression is on track.
Auto-recommended levels (optional):
In Account Settings, there is an option to automatically apply a student’s current level as their Recommended Level.
If enabled, the system checks daily and updates recommended levels for any student where the current and recommended levels differ.
Additional context:
This feature works in conjunction with the Time in Level report, which highlights students who have been in the same level for an extended period. Together, these tools help your team make informed decisions about student progression and when additional assessments may be needed.
