This article will show you how to mark a student's absence using the mobile App.
If a student cannot attend a scheduled class, you can notify the facility through the App to ensure proper record-keeping and potential makeup class eligibility.
Follow these steps to mark an absence:
Step 1 - Launch the First Class App on your device and tap "Get Started" to proceed.
Step 2 - Log In
Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.
Note: If you don’t know what to write under organisation, please contact your facility to get this information.
Step 3 - Once logged in, navigate to the Attendance section. (See highlighted)
Step 4 - Find and select the class where the student will be marked absent.
Step 5 - Select the specific date for the absence.
Step 6 - Choose the "Absent" option and enter the reason for the absence.
Step 7 - Confirm the Absence. Click the check icon to proceed.
Step 8 - A pop-up confirmation message will appear. Click Yes to confirm.
Step 9 - A success message will appear once the absence is recorded.
