How to Set up Staff (Including Teachers) in First Class

This article shows the process for setting up staff, including teachers, in the First Class system. 

Setting up staff profiles ensures accurate scheduling, role assignments, and efficient management of class operations. 

Follow these steps to add staff members and configure their settings effectively:

Step 1- Under the Settings menu, go to Teams and click Add User.

Step 2 -  Complete all the fields, ensuring you select the User Type (this is mandatory to avoid errors).

Step 3 - Once all fields are filled out, click Add New User to save the staff profile.

How to view and manage added Staff

Step 1 - Under the Settings menu,  go to Teams and click Users.

Step 2 - You can see a list of all added staff.  Click the dropdown button beside the staff's name to view their details.

 Step 3 - From the dropdown, you can access:

• User Info: Add additional details like mobile number, address, etc.

• Email: Used for the staff account login.

• Password: Used for the staff account login.

Step 4 - To edit any information:

• Click the Edit button beside the relevant field (User Info, Email, or Password).

• Make the necessary changes.

• Click Update to save the changes.

These steps allow for the smooth addition and management of staff members, ensuring their account information and details are always up to date.

How to set up location based lead teachers

A lead teacher can see all classes for a specific location.

To set up a lead teacher, you must include the word lead in your user type.

Set up the user type and click the location tab in the user type set up. Ensure that users is ticked for the specific location you want them to have access to.

Save the user type and then you can proceed with adding a staff member with that specific user type assigned.

That user will be able to see ALL classes for that specific location.
