How to add Class Area and Location
This article will provide instructions for adding a class area and location within the system.
Setting up class areas and locations helps in organizing classes by physical space, making scheduling and class management more efficient.
Follow the steps below on how to add and assign a class area and location.
To add an Area:
Step 1 - Go to Settings, then under Class Setup click Area.
Step 2 - Click Add New Class Area
Step 3 - Enter the details of the area and click Update to save.
To add a Location:
Step 1 - Go to Settings, then under Class Setup click Location.
Step 2 - Click Add New Class Location.
Step 3 - Enter the details of the location and click Update to save.
How to Assign Area and Location to Existing Classes
Step 1 - Under the Class menu, click Add/Edit Class.
Step 2 - To edit multiple classes, tick the classes you want to update, then click Edit All.
To edit a single class, click the pencil icon next to the class name.
Step 3 - Add Area and/or Location:
In the edit screen, add the appropriate Area and/or Location to the class.
Step 4 - Click Save to confirm the updates.
Note:
When creating a new class, you can assign an area and or location by clicking on the associated columns for the selected class you are creating (follow the blue ribbon)
