How to Change the Available Payment Types for Specific Classes

This article provides instructions on changing the payment type for individual classes.

The payment type relates to what payment methods can be accepted when booking a class via online bookings.

For example, for certain classes, you may only want to accept credit card payments, whilst for others you may accept both credit card and direct debit payments.

Setting the eligible payment types allows flexibility in managing billing methods based on class requirements or preferences.

Follow these steps to update the eligible payment types for specific classes in the system:

Step 1 - Click Add/Edit Class under the Classes menu.

Step 2 -  Use the filters to display only the classes you wish to update.

Step 3 - Select Classes to Edit:

For bulk editing, select all the displayed classes.

To edit a single class, click the pencil icon next to the class name.

Step 4 - Locate the Payment Types section and choose the desired payment types for the selected class or classes.

Step 5 - Once you've configured the Payment Types, click Save.

After saving successfully, only the selected payment types will be displayed for those specific class(es).

NOTE: If classes do not have specific payment types assigned, all available payment options will be displayed in the portal.

When classes are created, as a default, no payment types will be assigned (which means that the class will support ALL payment types that are enabled for online bookings (displayed in the parent portal in payment type settings))
