Steps to Set Up a Trial Site
Step 1: Set Up Logo
- Log into your First Class account and on the main menu click on the profile menu and go to account settings.
- In the top left corner there is a feature to upload your logo.
- Click upload your logo here, select your file and save
- A success message will appear and your logo will not be saved in your branding settings.
- Navigate to your home dashboard to view your logo and ensure that you are satisfied with the look and feel.
Step 2: Set Up Levels and Skills
Objective: To define the structure of the trial site by categorizing different levels and associated skills which will be critical to create classes.
- Go to settings à class set up à Levels
- Click the “add new button”
- Name the level, select a colour code, maximum and other non mandatory information (if you wish) and save
- Repeat until all your levels have been added.
- You may wish to attach skills or competencies to each level (recommended). To do this click on the blue + button in the action column for each level.
- Select add level skills and follow the prompts to add skills to a level.
Step 3: Set Up Level Pricing
Objective: To establish a pricing structure for your different class levels
Navigate to the settings menu, go to manage payments à level pricing
Click
- Click add new level pricing
- Choose level, the pricing type the amount for the associated level and the tax rate
- Ensure pricing is set up for all levels
Step 4: Set Up Terms
Objective: Set up terms to attach classes
Navigate to the settings menu, class set up à terms
- Click add new term
- Name the term
- Set a start date and an end date
- Set if its active or not active and update
- Note: If you run a perpetual program you will still need to enter a term end date- It can be well into the future. For example, 2030.
