How to set up notification banners in the parent portal

Parent Portal notification feature


This article will teach you how to customize your notification banner that will display in the parent portal.


Step 1 -  Within the Settings, under the Facility sub-menu, click “Parent Portal Notifications”.




Step 2 - Click the button “Edit” to the selected meta key. DashboardPage is the dashboard in the parent portal and the login page is in the Login page.




Step 3 - It will open a modal then edit it in the text field and click the “Update” button.



Step 4 - Then wait for a notification that the data is updated.




Step 5 - Then go to your parent portal URL: https://parent.firstclasssoftware.io/<facilitySlugName> and you can see the updated text in the Login Page or in the Dashboard Page
