Program types are used for reporting purposes, to differentiate different segments or programs.
For example, if you did a diving program and a swimming program, you could set up your diving program type to help report on diving-specific numbers and financials.
Program types are assigned under levels.
Eg. You may have diving level 1, diving level 2 and diving level 3 but you want to class all of those as diving so you can assign a program type of diving to those 3 levels.
This article will provide steps on how to create a program type and how you can link that to a level.
Step 1 - Within the “Settings” menu, expand the “Class Setup” and click “Program Types”.
Step 2 - Click the button “Add New Program Type”.
Step 3 - Input the name and description in the text field.
Step 4 - Click the button “Update” to create the data.
Step 5 - It will prompt a notification that the program type is saved.
How to link the levels into a program type
Step 1 - Within the “Settings” menu, expand the “Class Setup” and click “Levels”.
Step 2 - Choose the level you want to link to a program type and click the pencil icon under Actions.
Step 3 - Under the program type, choose from the drop down arrow and click Save.
Step 4 - You can double check the program type under the "Program Type" column.
