How to create a new/custom invoice for a customer


There may be times when you want to create a new invoice that is not linked to an enrolment.


For example, perhaps you created a class with the wrong pricing and customers have paid already and you need to charge for the remaining balance.


In such situations, you can use the customer/new invoice feature found in the ledger tab.


To view the ledger of the specific student, follow the steps below:


Step 1 - In the Student profile, click the Ledger tab.



Step 2 - Then it will display all the transactions for the specific student. 


It will also compute the balance of the student that was posted in the upper left side of the modal.




 

To create a new invoice, follow the steps below:


Step 1 - In the Student profile, under the Ledger tab, click the “New Invoice” button.




Step 2 - Input amount and description in the field.




Step 3 - Click the “Save” button.




Step 4 - Click the button “Yes” in the notification at the upper right side to proceed.




Step 5 - The new invoice is now saved and displayed in the system as a Debit.
