This article shows the process of sending bulk emails or SMS messages using the First Class System. Bulk messaging is useful for communicating important updates, announcements, or reminders to multiple recipients simultaneously.
By following these steps, you can efficiently reach large groups of students, and parents with consistent messaging through email or SMS.
Here are the steps to follow for Sending Bulk Emails to Students:
Step 1 - Access the Student List. Under the List menu, click on Active Students or All Students.
Step 2 - Use the filters to select the group of students you want to send a bulk email to. You can filter by attributes such as Levels or Days.
Step 3 - Tick the checkbox next to each student you want to include in the bulk email.
Step 4 - Choose Email or SMS based on your communication preference.
Step 5 - Choose the appropriate Template for your message OR write your own content in the content window
NOTE: Currently, data fields are only supported in templates. If you choose to write a message directly in the content window, the data fields will not be available for use.
Step 6 - Once you’ve configured all the details, click Send Communication to dispatch your message.
